On next February, 2 and 3, will take place in Géneve, Switzerland a conference called “LIFT – Life, Ideas, Future. Together”, “where the web was born”.
"LIFT is a conference about new technologies and people.
LIFT is about teaming talented observers, explorers, and builders with people whose work depends on understanding current challenges and creative solutions presented by emerging technologies. Attendees will face cutting edge business models, bold predictions, radical thinking — ideas to inject into their own part of the planet.
LIFT has a simple goal: connect people who are passionate about new applications of technology and propel their conversations into the broader world to improve life and work."
So far, nothing new. The good news is that I’m going to be there (unless something happen, like a problem with my sign up). I’m going to be lifted 
. I think it would be a very interesting conference, where we could have an important discuss about new ideas and new solutions to the future of the web and, most important, to the future of the Information Society.

I would think of going except that I can’t imagine such a radical, bold, creative LIFT with so few women as speakers.

Espero que seja uma experiência enriquecedora e que a viagem por si só seja de deleite. Se precisares de dicas, avisa. Afinal já por lá estive!

Lá estaremos pois então Hugo e faremos o possÃvel como te tinha dito para mudar umas quantas mentalidades acerca dos “tugas”. Vais ver como ajudamos no “lift”
Acho que era uma boa coordenar esforços para fazer uma cobertura porreira, o que achas?

Em principio, é verdade lá estaremos.
Estou ansioso pelo LIFT. Em relação à cobertura do evento, parece-me uma excelente ideia, coordernarmos esforços para fazer uma excelente cobertura, para todos os portugueses que gostariam de ir, mas infelizmente não vão poder estar presentes. Já agora, eu prometo que os posts serão em português, ou no mínimo bilingues.

I think it’s sad that there is so few ladies speaking there as well..
and the ones who are speaking, are on a panel.. hmm
